Located on the North Shore are the Annaberg (Anna’s Hill) Plantation ruins, which date back to the early 1700’s and provide a glimpse into the island’s history of sugar cane processing and rum distillation. From the Annaberg Sugar Mill, the vista overlooking Leinster Bay is spectacular!

Scuba and snorkeling in St. John is amazing! We’ve spotted sea turtles, a large stingray, barracudas, an octopus and even a shark! The numerous bays offer protection for the colorful coral reefs and gorgeous tropical fish. Below is one of the more camera shy creatures on St. John, a hermit crab.
